I have read Kevin's book two times - it's an easy read!!. Both times I have had a certain problem in mind. And both times his book helped me solve my problem because of the first step in his problem-solving formula. Every book I've read in the past on problem-solving suggests as a first step that we clearly identify the core problem. Kevin's book suggests that we clearly identify our real objective. That change in perspective from problem to objective made all the difference in the world to me. I went from saying "I have too much time on my hands" to saying "I want to feel as though I am using my leisure time in a productive manner. In order to do that, I need to identify specifc categories of activities which are meaningful to me."

This book is an easy read and not only provides great ideas but also examples and ways to successfully implement new ways of thinking. I, like many people, occasionally get into a rut in trying to solve a problem and Kevin gives some very creative ways to think differently than you normally might which gives you more opportunity to find a solution. Many of the ideas are worth rereading frequently to keep your mind nimble.
