As a full-day Head Start teacher, I found this book a wonderful resource of ideas to calm and center the children. I used it for stories to read at nap-time, and games to calm them during wild, rainy days. I even copied some pages and used them as resources to teach my student teachers how to interact appropriately with the children. I left my copy at a center I taught at, and now that I am home with my two children, I have missed it - I'm finally ordering another copy to use with my kids.

Amazon Verified Purchase ~ a very successful special ed teacher shared this book with me, so I checked and found it on Amazon. I'm thrilled it's still around, and after ordering, it arrived quickly. In this busy, noisy world, it's really important to help children learn HOW to listen and stay attentive while having fun. This book is a gem.
