Flash cards can be so much more useful when English is left out of the mix (if at all possible) and the Spanish is tied to an image or concept. That's exactly what these cards do, plus there is the benefit of an audio component that helps with proper pronunciation.
It's up to the student to organize them into cohesive units of study, according to the sequencing of the course being taken. If reflexive verbs are not being studied early in the class, pull them out of the set and move them towards the back. Abogado could very easily be moved to be included among other cards dealing with professions. The number printed on the card does not have to represent the sequence with which you approach learning that word. There are so many great products for enhancing language learning, but it's always up to the learner to decide how they'll work best for him.

The sentences taught are in alphabetical order of key words in the sentence. For example "abogado" is the subject of the first sentence. The reflexive is used on card 2, which is too early. I was looking for something that would start with phrases that someone would need first and then progress to more complex sentence structures and grammar. However, the listen and learn card method that Vis-Ed produces is still excellent.
