The bag is even better than expected, highly versatile with extra partitions so you can customize to your needs. The back pack straps are sturdy and comfy, although I don't do very long equipment hikes I think this bag would to great for that. I got my bag on a monday, but the lock was already set and locked and could not be "programed" per the instructions. I contacted Thinktanks their customer service dept and he sent me out a new one with the code I wanted already programed by that friday! Great service and I love the bag!

This is one of the best built photo bags I've ever seen. The Think Tank group is all about quality materials and thoughtful design. This pack is all it's advertised to be. The only concern I have - and it's entirely my own fault - is that this bag is so large and capacious, that fully loaded with tripod attached, it's very, very heavy. It's all I can do to not fall over backward with this behemoth completely loaded. So, be careful what you wish for . . . if you're looking for a very large bag and are prepared for the load, this is the bag for you. I've got a Canon DSLR, a 70 - 200L f2.8 lens, a wide angle, a 50 mm, a macro, a flash, a zoom lens and other assorted stuff, a Mac book Pro laptop and cables and it is very heavy. The laptop sleeve is terrific. The tripod holder is mediocre. Overall though, the quality and thoughtfulness of design can't be beaten if you want to carry everything you own at one time.
