5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing band .......... and back in action, May 15, 2007

ok, so a little different than world circus, but still amazing. these guys just got back together and are going to finally get the recognition of a whole new generation of metalheads. THINK THIS is more progressive than WORLD CIRCUIS and the lead singer is different ........... but it still has the same Toxik thrash/prog. feel and Josh Christians amazing guitar work, and the new singer is very good and more dynamic than the previous .... good or bad thing ? you be the judge ...

5.0 out of 5 stars If You Like Cookies, You'll Love Cookie Cri-, February 13, 2012
This review is from: Think This (Audio CD)
Toxik's second album is an improvement over their impressive debut, World Circus. More progressive and more of a concept album than its predecessor, Think This has quite a lot of layers to it. I find the albums that can be enjoyed the most are the ones that seem the hardest to digest at first. Think This is like this, what can sound like a cacophony of sound will soon make sense upon repeated listens. The songs are very technical, yet quite catchy. Spontaneous, There Stood The Fence, Machine Dream and the title track are all examples of the marriage between catchy and technical. The drums pound, the guitars wail, as does the vocalist. The vocals are high, but not as high as they were on World Circus. Different lead singer, and a lower register flows excellently. Buy Think This, and THINK.

4.0 out of 5 stars TOXIK!!!, September 21, 2008

Love these Guys. More polished than World Circus. Alot of stop and go beats, still pretty quick though. Memorable songs. Some choruses can be vocally whiney sounding. Again high tone vocals, but more "normal" this time around. Different singer Charles Sabin. Josh Christian shreds the album. Wish he did a solo album. There Stood the Fence is a power ballad, Out on the Tiles is a Led Zep cover. The two odd-ball songs. Great CD. Progressive Metal.
