I ordered two of these when looking for a staff to do some training with a friend of mine and they've held up fairly well given their relatively low price when compared to the alternatives. After a week or so that included several hours of somewhat intense sparring, they've splintered lightly, but seem like they'll be able to take quite a few more months of the same before I'll have to replace them. I'm 5'7", my friend is 5'10", and we both feel the 66" staff was the right choice.

I liked this bo a lot when i got it and while doing kata with it. However, it did not hold up when striking. Bo on bo contact delivered ugly dents on this bo, but hard striking on a striking dummy caused this bo to vibrate wildly and finally snap explosively, sending shards all over the dojo.

I like how this product is made from ecologically sustainable, engineered bamboo. It is sturdy and also nicely finished. However, it arrived slightly warped. Also, it lacks the tapered ends that standard bo staffs should have.
