These beautiful airtight bamboo canisters are great for holding coffee, sugar, tea, pasta, or whatever else you have in the kitchen that needs a nice container. The canisters have a flexible seal in the top, and a removable plastic liner to keep things fresh. The plastic liner is top rack dishwasher safe to make cleanup simple. We sell these as single pieces instead of as a set because people seem to want different sets. Some people want the same finish in different sizes, others choose several of the same size in different finishes to help tell the contents apart. As with all natural bamboo kitchen products, it is best to wipe them down occasionally with a food safe oil occasionally to protect against cracking due to moisture or changes in humidity.

My husband bought all three sizes of these canisters for Xmas for me - I just checked them out when they arrived. They are very cute and well made, but DANG they are TINY. I think the desciption says they are 5 1/4 or 1/2 inches in diameter, but that's just the lid. When you open the lid, the actual canister is only about 4 1/4 in diameter, which is very, very small. I wanted them for flour, sugar, and something else to be determined. I can put these things in them, but I'll still have half a bag of each to store somewhere else, which sort of defeats the purpose. But they're so cute that I don't think I can return them. So basically I just wanted to say that the size measurements are pretty misleading.

I bought this to keep some special smelling herbs in. However these special herbs really stink. So when I bought this product I figured air tight would mean not letting any air in or out. Well lets just say that this little container isint air tight. Comes with a plastic bowl insert. With or without the bowl it isint air tight, If looking for something air tight look elsewhere
