We bought this game as a gift for my 11 year old who had already enjoyed the original version. The Collector's Edition has 156 puzzles. The only surprise was the size of the game itself. While the original version is portable for taking on trips, the Collector's Edition is a full size 15"x15" base with large pieces. There is a storage drawer for all the 156 cards. Overall a very good investment.

I bought this for myself to exercise my problem solving skills and have a little fun. I'm 42 and use it to do one or two levels every day with my morning coffee. It really is lots of fun; who doesn't like to play with cars and curse at being in a traffic jam. This set has 155 challenges, bigger cars ,a stretch limo and a parking lot-all very cool.

My 12 year old nephew, who won't play ANYTHING that's not a video game, actually played it for a couple of hours. Something no other board/puzzle game that I can remember has done.
Very pleased with purchase, would purchase again.

Well my Teacher bought a few Thinkfun games in fifth grade and i had a blast with all of them, particularly Rush hour. It's been many year since I played Rushhour and in a sense of nostalgia decided to purchase one. I purchased the Ultimate Collectors Edition since it seems like the best value. You get 155 puzzles, 12 cars (including the Red one), four trucks, and also a limousine. Well I was expecting a slightly bigger grid than the original one but the grid is HUGE, it is about the size of a chess board. Well the game is absolute fun, and would recommend anyone to purchase this edition of rush hour for yourself or loved ones.

Very easy to learn the rules and lots of fun, for all ages. My son is 6 and he loved it too! Very easy to get hooked on it -kids and adults. This version has lots of levels, a limo that other versions don't and I thought it was worth it, although if wanting something cheaper, the non-collector edition is OK too. Definitely recommend it to buy for yourself and as a gift to friends (including kids).

I'm 34 and my 6 year old nephew introduced me to this game!!! I even ended up buying another copy for my dad for Christmas. Truly a great game for all ages. What I especially love about the ultimate collector's edition is that because it was made to look a lot nicer it makes a great coffee table game. I can leave it out for anyone to play. Much more fun and decorative than any magazine.

It's a really big Rush Hour set. If you're not familiar with the game, it is a sliding puzzle which involves moving other cars to allow the red car (or in some cases the stretch limo) to leave the board. The pieces are fair quality as is the board layout though the card stand could have been mounted right to the base so it need not feel as delicate. There are some handy spaces for the added cars as this happens to have included expansions also.

Quality of the set aside, it stands to say this is a collectors edition and for good reason. If you happen to already like Rush Hour and/or do not have the expansions. Then, this is a good set for you and it may include added value for getting more than just the basic set of puzzles.

If you happen to not know if you like Rush Hour though, you will want to instead invest in the basic set before moving to fork out for the super deluxe version of a game you may not necessarily want.

This is a good game for kids 12+ thru adults. This is much better and worth the extra money then the smaller games.
