So this tie is almost too awesome. Nice construction, and definitely a eye-catcher, and all for less than a regular boring tie. There are some things you should really be aware of:

*This is a clip-on. It has to be, since the knot would be decidedly not 8-bit, being round and everything. Basically what happens is that the front of the tie is grafted on a small regular clip-on tie.

*It is hand made, so the pixelated look will differ slightly from tie to tie.

As far as I can tell, the construction is nice, and the geeky ladies respond well!

I ordered it two days ago and I just got it today so the delivery was fast. If you're a geeky kind of a person, you will really like this. I'm so excited to wear this in class and see what my friends will say about this. The material is good and everything is good.

Bought this tie as a gift for my boyfriend. He got it in 4 business days and loves it. :) It came quickly and is exactly what it looks like in the photo... just awesome.

At first I thought it would arrive 5 to 6 days to my address but ThinkGeek is somehow a logistics nerd too! The tie arrived not 5 nor 6 days, 2 days was enough to be more than happy with my brand new 8 bit tie, which is also an incredible product and has a guaranteed All eyes on you.

I love the darn thing! I'd probably wear in everyday, everywhere I could, which is cool, because sooner or later I'm actually going to be able to use it.

I wore this for a New Year's Eve party a few years back and everyone took well to it. My only issue with it is that it's a clip on instead of a true tie, but that may not bother most people - in fact, I suppose that may make it more versatile to wear with items that don't have collars. It's a nice random tie to have for random occasions that don't have a dress code. It's held together well for being a few years old.

I got this item for my brother for Christmas and was unsure how he would take to it. He isn't normally a tie kind of person, but he wore it around the house all evening. :) He loved it. It was great quality and super fun for a super geek like my brother. It was a clip on tie, which I wasn't expecting, and that made everything better, in my eyes at least. I absolutely loved this product and I know my brother will too.

I bought this tie for a friend of mine and he really loves it, it's great. The only thing is it's a clip on and that isn't mentioned anywhere, just a heads up

This tie was amazing. THe delivery was fast, and it was exactly what I expected it to be. I sent it to my boyfriend and he really likes it. The blue was perfect, the stitching was what I thought it would be. You should know it is clip on or else the 8-bit part wouldn't make much sense. Defintely a great one for your sexy geek. I wouldn't give this product a bad review at all. GET IT! It's awesome!
