Just remember not to put it in the dishwasher. After 9 months or so, the lettering will start to go. Great mug, though.

I'm a gamer, and I love to show my affection for games. However, I don't feel the need to be the guy walking around in a Mario shirt and giggling as I regurgitate the "cake is a lie" meme. I prefer to be more subtle with my fandom, and this mug allows me to accomplish just that.
The mug is exactly as described - black, with the Aperture Laboratories logo on one side, and "a trusted friend in science" written on the other. It just makes my morning coffee a little more fun, and allows me to integrate my fandom into every day life without going HEY LOOK AT ME I LIKE VIDEO GAMES EVERYBODY.
The mug is sturdy and well-made. It's not some cheap piece of memorabilia that's going to fall apart the second one touches it. It's a high quality hot beverage device.
If I had to have one complaint, it's that the mug is a bit small, but I drink a 4-cup pot of coffee every morning so I don't know if I'm outside the norm and therefore unable to judge.
Overall, I love this mug. It's fun, and it's a good reminder that there is science to be done.

This mug holds liquids PERFECTLY! No lies! If you have fluids that need holding, this product is for you! This liquid container also serves effectively as a liquid transportation device thanks to a very useful, ergonomic, side-mounted handle. Great product!
