4.0 out of 5 stars Burgin- educator, artist, writer what can he not do?!, October 16, 2008
This review is from: Thinking Photography (Communications and Culture) (Paperback)
This book contains essays from other people (and a few from himself) who write on photography. For myself- his writings and of course, Walter Benjamin were my favorite sections. Burgin is one of my favorite image-makers because he really thinks about what he constructs and how it would be viewed by other people. And as we all are fully aware of now, there are people shooting images and having a field day with it, but this book definitely is a good way to SLOW DOWN and think!
