Book Description

September 1, 1999
Many years ago, Albert Einstein taught us that you can't solve a problem using the same kind of thinking that caused the problem in the first place. This book combines several approaches being used to describe today's global challenges into a broad but practical perspective on the future. It concludes that we must develop entirely new ways of thinking very soon if we want to pass on a high quality life to future generations.

Editorial Reviews

From the Author

When I was first asked to chair a task force on the role of business in building a sustainable future, I took it on as a project to be managed. But when the task force adopted a 30 years in the future time horizon, I suddenly realized that my newly born grandson would be just reaching the prime of his life at the time we were talking about. I immediately became much more passionate about the work, and I hope that this passion shows in my writing of this book.
