New isn't always better. This book is over one hundred years old and it still inspires. If you need a little inspiration (with some application in the mix), pick up this book. No matter how positive you are, you can always use a little boost and this book will do the trick.

5.0 out of 5 stars Uplifting and Inspiring!, October 24, 2005
This review is from: He Who Thinks He Can (Paperback)
"You will never succeed while smarting under the drudgery of your occupation, if you are constantly haunted with the idea the you could succeed better at something else." It is nuggets of wisdom like this that makes this book a true treasure.

5.0 out of 5 stars Exceptionally powerful book for personal success habits, December 9, 2007
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This book is a classic self-improvement masterpiece and is highly recommended. Written with an engaging, thought-provoking style, Harden articulates practical tips covering many concepts that were later built upon by Nightingale, Napoleon Hill/Clement Stone and many others.

What I liked best about this book is its forthrightness, and focus on character and integrity, which is well spoken and presented. I would rate this in the top 20 of hundreds of self-improvement/motivation/success oriented books I've read, and am grateful to Jeffrey Gitomer for recommending the author in one of his books/videos.

This is one of a handful of life-changing improvement focused books and is one I buy for families/friends. Very well done.
