4.0 out of 5 stars Short Stories from Mid America, April 1, 2006
This review is from: The Third Age Cometh (Paperback)
In her book The Third Age Cometh Dorothea Fuller Smith has written a collection of short stories of forgiveness and hope. These are stories of crisis and conflict. The author has given us stories of citizens in a new stage of life, the third age.

Her characters are believable and often evoke feelings of tenderness as stubborn, inflexible personalities soften and become pliable, as their fears and dread are resolved. Each story deals with a bothersome haunting question. The surprise solution provides a good and satisfying sense of closure to the participants in the story and the reader as well.

I recommend this book for readers of every generation, but especially to those members eager to enjoy their entry into the "The Third Age".
