This review is from: The Third Current of Revolution (Hardcover)
Dr. Waller's book exposes how the 1979-1992 Salvadoran civil war was actually fought largely in our own country, with the U.S. Left taking the side of the Farabundo Marti National Liberation Front (FMLN). The truly frightening part is how major a role was played by Liberal Democrats in our own Congress in promoting the FMLN's cause. This continued even after the FMLN had openly declared itself our enemy and murdered unarmed American civilians and military members in El Salvador, and its supporters in the States had bombed sites in Washington, including the Capitol itself. (One suspects that if Dr. Waller had caught Republicans raising money for Communist guerrillas his book had have received more widespread attention.) A chilling, detailed book, backed by meticulous research, The Third Current of Revolution should be read by everyone
