I was really pleased to see this type of work coming from Blue Sky Black Death as I've been really digging some of the indie rock vocals and leads lately. These guys continue to release timely music that really captivates me personally. This album feels unique but familiar with the production I'm accustomed too but in similar vein to Slow Burning Lights, adds a new element to the mix with the vocals from Alex Chen (Boy in Static).
The album is not for hip hop heads that don't want any change in the format. If you are experimenting with ambient music and find interests in the indie rock sound, this is a perfect balance. Definitely an album worth owning in my opinion.
