Disregard the review next to mine, if you look at the length/size of this book you'll realize it's not for some scholarly person with a BA in history. Book is very informative and provides lots of pictures and captions. The pictures used I noticed are not pictures you'll generally see in other WWII books so that was a nice addition. I was hoping this book would provide a detailed chronology of the anti-Semitic legislation of Hitler's Germany. Wrong! This review is from: The Third Reich Day By Day (Paperback)
Disregard the review next to mine, if you look at the length/size of this book you'll realize it's not for some scholarly person with a BA in history. Book is very informative and provides lots of pictures and captions. The pictures used I noticed are not pictures you'll generally see in other WWII books so that was a nice addition. The title is a little deceptive because it doesn't go day by day but more like month by month. The book spans a very long era starting at the very birth of the Nazi regime but seems like the author might spend a lot of time focusing on the beginning of the Nazi's and really rushed the ending of the book just briefly touching base on the last years of the war. Good supplementary read for someone but certainly not going to make you a WWII scholar.
