Without question, Season 5 is the best season of this show. Sitcoms TV seasons are a scary buy, as it's always a mixed bag of quality, but if you had to pick from among 3rd Rock's 6 Seasons, Season 5 is the one to buy. The actors all hit their stride together and it's an excersize in hilarity that I have not seen on TV or practically anywhere else in quite some time.

I was so glad to get this set on a gold box special-I'd forgotten how funny, witty, well written/acted, and wonderfully entertaining the show had originally been. Since I am not a TV show aficionado, having some minutes cut out does not impact me as I simply do not recall the episodes in their entirety. Maybe if like some I had old VCR tapes to compare, then I might feel differently. I just know when I've had a challenging work day if I watch an episode or two, I laugh out loud and feel much happier. This is a definite cost effective stress reducer. I plan to get the entire set as they too slowly go on sale.

This one is an outstanding addition for your DVD comedy collection! The cast of Season 5 (John Lithgow, French Stewart, Jane Curtin, etc.) is as funny as ever! Hilarious!

Another hilarious season put out by your favorite dysfunctional alien family.

This set includes all 22 episodes from season 5, and on the case they claim to be uncut, however I am skeptical. Tommy graduates High School, The Big Giant Head and Vicki return, with a startling revelation, Harry is High Commander of Holes, and Sally, Harry and Tommy orchestrate a plan to rob a bank; sadly the pens are chained down. There is one episode I think has been cut a bit from what I remember, but I could be wrong.

Quality and sound perfect once again, and the collectible booklet is at the same level of quality we've come to expect. Bloopers are not nearly as good as the last few season selections along with fewer extras.

All in all a great addition to you DVD collection, with this season there is only one season left. Add this one to your collection and sing along, Something Something SPACESHIP!!

i have all seasons and wach them 1-3 times a year on av. ive see each episode at least 10+ times and its still funny

This show was a classic from the day it aired! Great to watch with the family or a fun TV/movie night substitute.

Just a great funny classic that was made the way comedy could for all ages. I bought all the series from Amazon and have enjoyed them all

This show is amazing!! The alien thing never gets old. I got the whole set. The cast rocks! It amazes me still that I'll watch it again and again and still laugh. :D Great buy!

We waited patiently for this and the other! Arrived when they said it was and it was in perfect condition!! I am very satisifed.

Got one season as a gift and was hooked. Got them all now. Love this show.
