5.0 out of 5 stars Very Helpful Book, August 28, 2005
This review is from: The Third World Security Predicament: State Making, Regional Conflict, and the International System (Emerging Global Issues) (Paperback)
I'm a graduate student studying developed and developing nations. I found this book extremely helpful in better understanding the historical and current relationship between the developing world and the developed world. The author explores the effect of internal and external variables, including international norms, colonialism, pre- and post-Cold War issues and effects. As my professor explained to me, this is one of the few books that attempt to inform the North about Southern issues, from a South perspective.
