Thirst ~ Clock DVA,
By Bjorn Viberg (European Union) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Thirst (Audio CD)
Thirst being their debute album sounds nothing like man amplified or any of the other albums for that matter. Thirst is an experimental rock album with very strange and odd lyrics that I have no idea what he is reaching for. Infact I could easily say that his lyrics sounds all like avantgarde poetry and his music is as experimental as early Kraftwerk and Tangerine Dream. Newton has better vocals then many artists and it is not art for arts sake. The cover art is odd and the picture of the child or the bald man, I do not know what it is, is quite unsettling. Even so this is a grand experimental rock album that should not be missed.

Soundtrack to a Korean Masterpiece!,

Park Chan-wook is one of the most creative filmmakers alive. His collaboration with composer Cho Young-wuk has become legendary. Cho's music is more than atmospheric. It is a character by itself. Thirst Cantata and A Cute Vampire are unforgettable tunes.
