Where are the leg gussets??????
The Walkers
That said, the Bum Genius and MotherEase diapers have done just as well as the Thirsties in the leaking dept.
This diaper fits well and works great.

Sooooooo... first off I love Thirsties and out of all the reusable diapers I have tried I chose Thirsties Duo Wrap and inserts. I have been using them for over a year and plan to continue until my baby is potty trained. They have held up due to great construction and I doubt I will have to replace them before potty training time comes.

Back to this diaper - the Duo All in One size 2

I think the fact that it has been out for many many weeks and not one single review says it all! Thirsties has very loyal customers and we don't want to say anything bad about them but we are not happy with this new version when the previous version (Duo Wrap) is so incredible!!!

The Good: (which by the way is in all Thirsties products with the exception of #7)
1. Incredible construction of the product. Seems are perfectly aligned, strong, and sturdy
2. Made in the USA (this is above all the best thing)
3. The length of life this diaper cover has. Only two sizes to hassle with unlike many many many others that have 5 or more from birth to potty training. Thirsties has 2 sizes and that is it!
4. The material is water proof, strong with good stretch for comfort for a crawler
5. I love the velcro top, it is just like using a disposable diaper
6. The patterns are so cute and such a variety
7. The sewn in diaper liner is sewn just in the middle areas to provide easy cleaning and drying
8. Safe for washer and dryer :)
9. The material outer material is also breathable and I have yet to have diaper rash on my little girls bottom ever since using Thirsties.

The Bad: (sorry Thirsties)
1. Where are the leg gussets?????? This is the biggest reason for the bad rating for me... the leaking I have is occurring through the leg area.

This is our first adventure in cloth diapering. After copious amounts of research, we decided to start with this brand. I purchased prefolds, the duo cover, a duo fab fitted, stay dry inserts, the duo AIOs, and the wipes, all from Thirsties. The AIO has been the easiest to use. My husband has no complaints about these versus disposables (and I'm shocked). These wash well, don't stain, dry in about 1 1/2 cycles in the dryer on medium (not too bad). The snaps hold up well to both my 2 month old and my 2 year old who wears them to bed. I haven't used them with a liner yet. I do recommend the snaps over the velcro though. The velcro doesn't hold up well in the wash after only a few weeks, and I've been careful with it. Also, one of my other diapers arrived with a damaged snap (still functional but cracked). Thirsties customer service immediately sent out a replacement and postage paid return for the damaged one. Great customer service is a great bonus. Everything arrives in eco friendly packaging and is made in the USA.

OK! This is the best fitting diaper for a thin baby I've ever found. I found it to be quite trim as far as cloth diapers go, and it looked adorable. Unfortunately though, after a few months of using these I could not get the stink out. I tried every remedy as an experienced cloth diapering mom, and just couldn't get the urine smell to come out. I think it's because it is incredibly difficult to get this diaper dry all the way through, and to clean it all the way through its many layers. This is why after years of trying both cotton and synthetic diapering systems, I have to vote in favor of a cotton or other natural prefold of some kind, and a cover. Prefolds wash easily, dry easily, sun-bleach easily, and last forever... synthetic fibers just don't do any of those things...

I have cloth diapered two kids now and have tried just about every major brand. As far as I am concerned, this is the perfect diaper for us. Very soft for baby. The fleece does not pull on dry skin at all as some others do. The leg gussets are just tight red marks and no leaks. Easy to use. Dries fast. Love it and buying more.

I'm relatively new to cloth little guy is 6 mos and I decided to try it out. I bought a few different brands after doing a lot of review reading. I wanted AIO's for sure, no diaper stuffing for me. And I've tried ones like Flip with someone else's kid and hated them. Anyway...between swaddlebees (which after seeing it I returned it without even trying it), Bummis Tots Bots (which won second place with me), and Bum Genius Freetime, I liked Thirsties the best. They fit great, are soft inside and you don't have to mess with trying to get the liners in the right spot (like with the BG). I also like the Tots Bots, I just take forever to tuck the long liner inside and smooth it out, otherwise that one washes and wears great as well. I don't have issues with the velcro (I am not a fan of snaps), the laundry tabs work just fine. I always line dry my diapers. Turn these Thirsties inside out when you hang them, they'll dry faster. I wash a load at night and they're dry by morning. I also have one MotherEase diaper for nights, so far that works great too, absorbs a lot! I've never put extra liners in any of my diapers yet. I don't have issues with them leaking. My son would leak everyday (messy diapers) with disposables, haven't had issues with any of the cloth ones. Yay! Out of my small stash of 10 diapers, 5 are Thirsties. :)

**update, now that my son is almost 8 mos, I still am glad we switched to cloth diapers and I'm loving the Thirsties AIO! I had to use disposables a few days ago because I was saving our cloth diapers for our out of town trip and of course my son had a messy diaper.
