Product Description

Color: Aqua

Thirsties new One-Size Pocket Diaper is ultra-absorbent, a cinch to use, and designed to provide a great fit for most babies from 8 to 40 pounds. Pairing our adjustable rise with our signature leg gussets ensures messes will be contained whether your baby is tall, short, slim or chunky. The included inserts provide eight thirsty layers of absorbency, making this a dependable diaper for both day and nighttime use. Plus, there is no need to remove soiled inserts before washing, toss the Thirsties One-Size Pocket Diaper in the washing machine and the insert will agitate free during the wash cycle. So many amazing features and made in the USA…how simply awesome is that?! Our handy pocket design features openings on both sides of the diaper between the stay-dry microfleece and waterproof layers. These openings allow for easy insert stuffing from either side of the diaper and make for easy cleaning. The included inserts feature three layers of serged microfiber snapped together with five serged layers of hemp jersey; eight layers in all! When using both inserts with a newborn simply fold down the hemp insert and snap together with the microfiber insert. Microfiber is a fast absorber designed to rest closest to your baby's skin (beneath the microfleece sleeve); hemp is a stable absorber and pairs perfectly behind the microfiber to add more absorbency and prevent compression leaking. Both hook & loop and snap closures are available on the Thirties One Size Pocket. While many families prefer hook & loop closures because of the simple, secure fit they provide, snap closures do have a few advantages of their own. Snaps are nearly indestructible and are more challenging to unfasten for a toddler who prefers to go naked. The mission of Thirsties, Inc. is to make it easy and affordable for every family to choose cloth while simultaneously investing in our local economy and sustainable business practices. We are very proud of the fact that all Thirsties products are manufactured in Colorado, USA, by a group of very talented individuals, many of whom are moms who work in the comfort and convenience of their own homes. We delight in the opportunity to sell products that contribute to a happy and healthy start for your children while helping to minimize your baby’s first carbon footprints. Proudly manufactured in the USA

I am new to cloth diapering and love it.

Compare its size with blueberry coverall, thirsties size one definitely fit better to newborns.

I loved my thirsty all in ones until they started to stink and I couldn't strip them properly due to being an all in 1. He quickly grew out of the size ones and instead of replacing with the next size I decided to go to the one size pockets. I'm glad I did. They are very absorbent and have contained several nasty breast fed blow outs (you know the ones where he hasn't gone in several days and they lets it all out at once). I can separate the inserts and wash them much better than the all in 1. The hemp insert is much more absorbent and combined with the microfiber actually makes a good night time diaper. Plus the sitter really doesn't mind using these diapers as compared to the fitteds with covers.

I have used many other Thirsties products and I was very interested to see how the One Size diaper would work. I have both the Aplix and snap version and I am very happy to see how strong the new version of Aplix is, as well as durable. I have been using them for a few months now and the Aplix shows no sign of wear. The snap version has two in-line snaps that keep the top secure, as well as a better fit for older babies. My baby is 1.5 years old, and 22 pounds and she will be able to wear this diaper for a very long time, most likely past potty training age. I can also use this diaper as an overnight diaper, without having to add any additional inserts! I love that the inserts can also be customized, I believe this would work well for a little boy that needed additional absorbency in the front without the added bulk of a doubled insert.

The One Size also has the double gusset, a feature I love for babies, especially breastfed ones! They do a great job of containing mess and leaking.

This is my third baby in cloth, I have tried every brand on the market and so far this is my favorite! My children are heavy wetters and I'm impressed with the absorbency so far. I also like that the diaper is well made and washed well. Please note that the hemp insert will take longer to dry because it absorbs 4x more. This diaper is a must have in your stash and you won't be disappointed.

My first experience with Thirsties were the duo one size. Yes, I liked the diaper, but no I did not like the fact that my skinny legged (75% height, 3% weight) grew out of the size 1 pocket diaper at barely 4 months, as the rise was too low and she loves to be on her tummy. Then, I discovered the OS pocket diapers. While I've had issues with my BG 4.0's repelling and leaking at daycare and at night, these pocket diapers have been bulletproof. (And yes, I've gone through the whole stripping, bleach, etc- I feel that BG suedecloth just can't handle my super-fast peeing baby whereas thirsties fleece can). No repelling, and the hemp/MF combo is great for super soaker babies.

I can sleep easy at night when she has these on, knowing I won't have to deal with a wet and cold screaming baby at 3 am. Our alternative choices at night include Thirsties fitted with a Wollybottoms organic interlock cover which works equally well. I've bought 5 more of these pockets and seriously considering de-stashing my 30+ stash of BG 4.0's because of my new-found love for Thirsties OS. I hope to update this later on and hopefully do not have the repelling/leaking issues that I'm currently dealing with my BG's. Fingers crossed! My only wish is that the Thirsties company considers choosing darker colored piping/lining for their diapers, as white lined gussets can be difficult to sun out- that is my only complaint. Otherwise, I'd highly recommend.

Love these diapers! I cannot say enough good things! My daughter is 18 months old and she sleeps in these and never leaks. When I change her in the morning and pull the insert out it is saturated but you'd never know from the outside and it stays off her skin! I've been recommending them to everyone I know who is pregnant! :-)

After trying several brands and styles of disposable, Thirsties Duo were the best at absorbing and containing. I was sad to find Thirsties discontinued the style, but excited when these arrived a few days ago. They're the Duo version 2.0, which contain more snaps to adjust to fit the full range of kiddos. Great idea, as we had to order 20 or so Size 1's, then a few weeks later 20 more Size 2's as our daughter grew right out of them. Now with the 10 One Size, and the others we have, we can go 4-5 days between laundry and not throw money (and disposables) away.

It leaks EVERY time I put it on my son. I really like the thirsties diaper cover so I thought I would try the pocket diaper as well. Bad decision! I'm glad I only bought one. I have tried everything to make this diaper work but it is all wrong for us. After 3 consecutive leaks I am finished with this diaper. The only thing going for it is that it is adorable.

I really, really wanted to love this diaper. After cloth-diapering two previous babies I knew what I liked: Pockets. My favorite brand was no longer being made (Preston's Pants), and I had a pile of older and new Blueberries that fit my little one OK but not great. The biggest issue I was trying to resolve was this: My little one has ginormous thighs. At 7 months old they were 11" in circumference, with baby having a 17" waist and overall weight of around 18lbs. Several other reviewers seemed to feel these fit their chunky babies so I was ready to give them a whirl.

They just don't cut it for my thunder thighed offspring. We are on the largest of the leg snaps and the largest of the waist snaps, and at 8 months old will probably outgrow this diaper by 9-10 months and 20+ pounds.

The diaper itself is well made, but the liners were only moderately absorbent (I also have a heavy wetter here). The opening to stuff the pocket from front or back was far more annoying than I expected - I had to work at it to get the liner to fit just right and not sag. As for the leg gusset - it is a nice addition, but I also question the "patent" for it - leg gussets were very common when I started CD-ing over 8 years ago, and I really question the integrity of the person who decided to patent what was a commonplace design feature.

The pattern was cute enough, although it seems upside-down unless you see your baby crawling away from you. I thought the plain color choices were muddy and ugly otherwise.

Overall, if you have skinny or petite babies this may work for you. We are still looking for a solution to the chunky thigh diaper problem, ourselves.
