Thirstystone quarries their sandstone for the Coasters in the Southwestern United States using the most environmentally conscious methods to extract the sandstone boulders that will be crafted into Thirstystone coasters. Thirstystone Sandstone Coasters are among the finest in the world, due to their incredible absorbing ability. The unusual nature of the porous sandstone literally absorbs messy drips from beverages without leaking onto furniture. They also do not lose their ability to absorb over time. The Coasters come in a set of 4, with each one being 4" in diameter and 3/8" thick. Each has a cork back so as not to scratch surfaces. Exact shades and colors of natural stone can vary.

Excellent product. The stone absorbs liquid quite well. It looks simple but actually quite elegant. Better than any plastic or cork-type of coasters I have ever used. Other stone coasters have all kinds of pictures on them, many of which would not go with most people's decor.

My husband and I enjoy our drinks with ice and it causes condensation on the outside of the glass. I have used all kinds of coasters that either leaves a puddle that when you pick up the glass it drips on you or a stain. These are fantastic as they soak up all the moisture and dry to look like you have never used the coaster. We started with a set of 4 and now we have 12. I also give these as gifts and people rave over them and want to know where they can purchase them for gifts. You will never ever be sorry you purchased these coasters.
