Rick Yancey is the author of two other Alfred Kropp adventures, plus several books for adults. He is also a produced playwright and former theatre critic. He lives in Gainsville, Florida with his wife and three sons.

I myself have not read the series, but my son and daughter (young teens) have enjoyed all three books, and use them as the standard for the books they are looking to read. If your teens like adventure, these seem to be a hit!
