This is the first book of the millionaire of the month series. This series is based on 6 friends who 10 years ago had promised to build a house in Lake Tahoe and live in it for a month to reflect on what they have done with their lives. Hunter died but in his will, he manage to build the house by the lake and asked that his friends honor their promise and live in it. After they have all lived in it for a month, the house will be donated to charity.

Nathan was the first to use the house. Nathan is a loner and a recluse. His family died when he was young and ever since, he has traveled and been on the move constantly. He runs the family international hotel chains. He is rich and successful, but his life is empty and that is the way he prefers it. On his first day at the house, he was beyond himself because the house was too quiet. He liked to be left alone, but the calmness and solitude of the house was just too much for him. Keira is the mayor of the town and it is in the best of her interest that all 6 men fulfill their dead friend's wish. She goes and tries to welcome Nathan. She finds him nasty, mean and at the same time attractive and intriguing. She is bound to find out the real Nathan and Nathan cannot seem to get rid of her.

Story kept me interested, it was fun. My only complain about this story is. SPOILER ALERT!!!
At the end of his stay, Nathan realizes he loves Keira when she tells him to go away. It didn't seem to me all that realistic and credible. I would have picked different parts of the book as his "Eye Opening" moment. Overall very good and looking forward to the next book.

Was very pleased to find this book as I had read other in the set and was only missing this one and another. The book arrived four days after I ordered it which was very good services and I started reading as soon as I got it,
