This is a wonderful resource for exploring hiking areas of the Columbia Gorge in Oregon. Marvelous hiking trail experiences are described in great detail, leading explorers to feel confident, with specific guidance. My former copy was tatered and worn after completing all 35 hikes, with trail guide in hand. We started hiking the trails with the least elevation gain in the book and gradually worked our way to the most difficult hikes. It was marvelous to discover that I could purchase a copy in good, like new condition to replace my worn copy. The book is an absolute joy, providing all the information you need for numerous hikes in the area.
