I've had the pleasure and honor of sitting in on harp with these "Gentlemen of Jump" from Kansas City. Nobody in Omaha is currently playing this brand of cool blues, and it's always a pleasure when they head up north. Do yourself a favor-buy this cd and catch the Blues Notions the next time they are near your town.

Well - the fact that these guys are a local band, and their ratings are 5 stars should tell you something right there. Local yes, but very well-respected and getting known faster every day.

These guys are no amatuers - they're the real thing. Extremely talented, and they put some very good picks on this CD. I am not the type to play "air-(anything)" but I'll be danged if I wasn't strongly inclined to on various songs and various "air" instruments. VERY VERY talented and FUN band.

These guys are a rockin/swinging/jumpin good time R&B. You can NOT sit still to this music, or maintain a low mood. It will pick you up and have you hoppin and happy. I can't wait to see them perform, and I'm anxiously awaiting their next CD which should be out real soon.

This is a band that plays the local clubs around here, a coworker went to a private party they played at and couldn't have been more impressed (as were all the other party guests). She "had" to get their CD right then. I'm so glad she did - she let me borrow it (though I can't understand how she could part with it!) and it absolutely blew me away!

The perfect music for one of those rare perfect summer nights where the weather is so great you just HAVE to be outdoors, and have this music jumpin --- favorite beverage in hand and friends and neighbors enjoying it with you. A perfect evening. Heck - its perfect for any time you want to feel "up" and alive and happy, and energetic, and mellow at the same time.

I'm buying a few from ... tonight to send to friends out of state for no other reason than I know if they listen they can't help but love it too. And if it does for them what it does for me - it's worth going a bit more in debt for! :-) [These guys are so good, that I felt guilty making copies of their CD - I figure they deserve the credit for the sales and the money too. I bet you will too.]

Please check out their w-site and maybe you can catch them live near you. At the very least you can learn more about them and find out ASAP when their next CD is available, because you will NOT want to miss it if it's anything like this first one!

My friend played some of this CD in her office and as people passed by they all had to stop in, listen and move to it a little and find out where they could get a copy. How often do you find something that you can immediately turn others "on" to that quickly in such droves. And after hearing a bit of it, we were each in very upbeat moods the rest of the day. [But don't get me wrong, this is NOT one to listen to while you're working in the office - you will NOT get any work done! ha ha ha]

Ok, why are you still reading this??? Buy it!!! You'll LOVE it!
