It seems that these guys just get better with every album they put out. I've been a Hillsongs fan since I got a copy of "People Just Like Us" back in 1994 or so and every subsequent album since then I have enjoyed more and more. I like Hillsongs because their songs are upbeat and genuinely heartfelt, they totally convey their passion for the savior through their songs. I would be hard pressed to pick a favorite song on this album, because they are all amazing, but some of the ones that stuck me the most were "You Are Near," "One Day," "Everyday" and the title track "For This Cause." I was especially drawn to "For This Cause," because it defined my life as a christian, and how I am totally living for the cause of Christ. This album is deninately a must buy in praise and worship music! I guarantee that this CD will touch your heart and bring you closer to the Father. I just can't wait until their new CD "You Are My World" is released in July at the Hillsong Conference, because I know it will be just as good as this one (if not better)!

This CD is yet another wonderful example of the hearts of all those at hillsong - to bring people to the throne of God in Worship. Amazing, inspiring and anointed. All I can say is Thank you to them for helping to open the door of my heart and invited Gods love in through their music. For the cause... to worship our Father. Each song has brought me to a new understanding, a new realisation of who I am and who God is. I'll never stop learning about him. There Songs take you to that special place every one of them.

This CD is better than any of the other older ones.(If that could be possible.) Although, I think the title should be called One Day because that is my favorite song on here. I love how One Day starts out with a galloping guitar part and than moves on to the Salsa beat to FAITH. The fast songs tend to be the best in this album (in exception to Lifted Me High Again), but still it is all great. My favorite slow song would definately be IT IS YOU. Darlene Zschech's real, soft voice comes though in this one with a beautiful melody that literally does what the lyrics say. EVERYDAY is also a gorgeous fast song that has a hop to it that makes you want to dance. Unlike BY YOUR SIDE, the songs don't repeat to much and it is cut clean like a concert which makes it easier to follow along especially in the parts where everyone starts yelling and shouting and they just go on forever and ever. But, anyway this CD is a must buy for people who like fast-moving worship and those who like to dance when they worship the Lord!

Hillsongs Music has once again blown the lid off worship music. Each CD they release gets better and better. God has certainly blessed this church with a gifted talented team. Darlene Zschech has one of the best voices in Christian music and the song IT IS YOU is so beautiful and intimate that it even tops SHOUT TO THE LORD, if that's possible. The mutli-talented Reuben Morgan also proves himself an annointed songwriter with many different styles to keep the songs fresh.

I don't know how they do it. Every year, Hillsong Music Australia records a better CD!

You have to buy this one! You won't be disappointed! The songs are all beautiful and annointed. From the catchy praise songs to the wonderfully intimate worship of this CD, Hillsongs demonstrate a love for the Lord that is truly beautiful.

I'm so thankful to God that I have found out about Hillsongs!

Awesome songs that keep drawing me closer to God, moving me up a level in my church life and my walk with God. The presence of God and the high level of praise just flow out of the album when you turn it on.

I had been beginning to tire of Hillsongs music when I bought this CD, but a friend convinced me to get it anyway. I must admit to liking the songs on this album more than on their previous releases, and as much as I admire Darlene Zscech's voice and talent, I'm glad that this CD is more of a showcase for the up and coming songwriters such as Joel Houston (son of Brian & Bobbi Houston, the pastors of Hillsong CLC). There are two of his songs on here, and they happen to be my two favourites - "For This Cause" and "Everyday".

I guess part of the reason why I only gave this 3 stars is due to my less-than-entusiastic response to "happy-clappy" pentecostal churches - love the music, but the style of worship is not intimate enough for me to feel in touch with God, and therefore the whole atmosphere projected through this CD gets irritating after a while. But that being the case, don't let me put you off purely on account of my personal preferences.

Production wise, there is no doubt that this is an excellent recording - harmonies come through clearly, the lead vocalists are obviously giving their all to God with their worship, and the instumental backing is as professional as it always has been.

But my personal opinion is that while you could undoubtedly do much worse than Hillsongs Worship, you could also do better.

I love how this album starts off on One Day,(one of my favorite Hillsong Songs) then goes straight into Faith (my favorite song in this album)with lots of Spanish horns and rythms. I also think For this Cause, Carry Me, and Lifted Me High are also good songs.
All in all, this album is worth getting.

I love the music on the album, it's refreshing and uplifting.

As always, Hillsong has a freshness to their songs that goes the distance. This is one of their older projects, but filled with upbeat worship songs, as well as great ballad style worship songs. I highly recommend this one!
