5.0 out of 5 stars this was a nice surprise ..., April 10, 2006
Okay, I had heard Thanatos on the "Excelsis" christmas compilations and liked one song, but didnt like the other ... then I find this sitting in a used record bin and decided to give it a chance as it was pretty cheap. That was a good decision on my part, this is acoustic 'gothish' stuff with a nice relaxing feel to it, but yet not so relaxing as to be boring. It definitely does need a bit of time to grow on you though.

5.0 out of 5 stars The best Thanatos album, a must for your collection, September 2, 1999
This album just keeps growing and growing on you. It might take you a few listens to get into the album, but give it a chance. The ambient syns in the background of most songs by the "Great One" SR are enchanting and PO's guitar work and voice are ones not to be missed. Easily, my favorite out of the Thanatos albums. Even some of the songs "cheesy" lyrics will get to you after a while. Contains the best cover version of "Don't Fear the Reaper" that I have heard. Another fine release from Projekt.(as usual)

1.0 out of 5 stars Garbage, March 4, 2003
By A Customer
I bought this CD in hopes of hearing something like Black Tape For A Blue Girl or Lycia, but instead I got an hour and a half of Sam Rosenthal (aka Monty Burns) whining away to a weak acoustic guitar backdrop.
