5.0 out of 5 stars Sander's best compilation so far
well if you love sander kleinenberg this compilation will make you love the guy even more. It is his best mix so far. I love his previous mixes, but this one surpasses them...

First cd darker and moodier is 5 out 5 stars.
Second cd is straight to the club with awesome dance beats and progressive house roots. 6 out of 5 if there is such a thing...

1.0 out of 5 stars If I could it 0 stars I would!!!!!
I would not usually review CD, in fact this is the very first CD Iv ever reviewed, for the simple fact that most reviewers have said all that needs to be said, which is certainly not the case here! I bought this CD on the Good name of Sander Kleinenberg, Renaissance and on these reviews given. Big mistake! I can honestly say that I never have I heard such a load of...

5.0 out of 5 stars When's Everybody Three come out?, January 6, 2005
This review is from: This Is Everybody Too (Audio CD)
I normally can't get super-excited about in-the-mix DJ sets of other people's songs, but this one is different. I really do love this double disc of Everybody Too.

It's very upbeat, good driving-fast music; very catchy and danceable. There are great beats all over this two-plus hours.

I love Sander's own creation "The Fruit", which is really damn funky. He should do an entire album of his own songs if they're all going to sound that good.

Everybody Too is a really good double-disc in a rather jumbled double-disc-dance-field. Dig it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Sander K at his best, October 30, 2005
This review is from: This Is Everybody Too (Audio CD)
CD1: 4.5 stars
CD2: 5 stars
Sander K manages to produce another bad ass set. I didn't like Everybody Too at first, but it has been slowly growing on me. The mix has a retro feel to it just like Everybody. Depending on your taste, you may enjoy either CD1 over CD2 or visa-versa. I love CD2 because it is very smooth and the way Sander K transitions in between Party to the Music and Waves is mind numbing! He uses what I call a stutter-step beat as a pivot over to the next song (difficult to explain), which is the icing on the cake. CD1 is great with a good selection of retro songs that blend well with the combination of modern beats. Nothing much else to say other this set shows Sander K doing his best: mixing songs and making you forgot your troubles.

5.0 out of 5 stars SIMPLY AWESOME FROM SANDER K, November 30, 2004
This review is from: This Is Everybody Too (Audio CD)
Wow! What a journey you will find in this CD. I find myself swaying, then bobbing my head, then rocking out, then spastically dancing and repeat cycle. I listen to both discs of this album at least twice a week, and I have had it for over a month now. It is one of those "before you know it, its over" records. The first CD goes from funky, lush house like tracks 3 and 4, then on to an almost 80's electro-house style like 8 and 9. The second CD has a faster beat and more danceable rhythm to it than the first, but both are fantastic. If you have the chance, you must see Sander live. He is smokin, and had me thrash dancing on the floor for about six hours. His huge smile is contagious, and I guarantee if you buy this CD you will become an instant fan as I did.

4.0 out of 5 stars Kleinenberg's best???, July 1, 2005

Loved this mix. Can't say that I'm too fond of Disc one, but Disc two is "off the hook". Great track selection - this one's playing at my next party.

5.0 out of 5 stars Album Of The Year, December 7, 2004
By
This review is from: This Is Everybody Too (Audio CD)
Unlike the previous reviewers...I wouldn't label this album as Progressive. It's a little darker and harder. Anyway...I have seen Sander live before and I wasn't impressed. That's why I was blown away when I heard this album. It's UNREAL!! This might just be the album of the year. If you don't own this set....then you are missing out. Go out and buy this today. You won't be disappointed.

4.0 out of 5 stars One of the best new progressive house releases, November 4, 2004
This review is from: This Is Everybody Too (Audio CD)
This cd is one of the best progressive house releases of the past year, along with Gabriel and Dresden's Bloom, James Holden's Balance 5, James Lavelle's Global Underground Romania, Ferry Corsten's Circus (which is technically progressive trance, but still excellent) and Sasha's Global Underground Involver. Unlike his early Renaissance This is Everybody One, both disc one and two are stellar. If you have that album, this cd is much more like the funky retro disco house set.

By eschewing the standard dark progressive house form of the Global Underground Nubreed Series, he is able to create a superb collection of music by spinning a much more vibrant funky style of progressive, centered on mellow rolling bass lines and funky build ups. The beats are uptempo, deep, rather than hard bass, designed to keep you head bopping, but at the same time low key enough so that you'll never feel tweaked out or a desire to turn the volume down. Set energy is maintained from beginning to end on both discs, and you will wish the sets would never end.

I wish all four hour sets and dj albums could be like this.

The mixing is seamless but it is the track selection that is the most impressive, especially since I never thought he was that good of a dj, until now. I have always enjoyed his productions (see Global Underground Ibiza Disc 1) but his dj sets never impressed me. Maybe this what (music) he actually listens to, but its is infinitely better than the much of cookie cutter dark progressive house from which those earlier mentioned cds have evolved from.

Anyways, if you've never heard a funky Sasha set from 10 years ago, this is the best way to see how dance music has evolved. Everybody Two has much of the same sound. The influence is very clear, just pick up the newly reissued Sasha and Digweed Renaissance collection.

In today's terms it is similar to the sounds of Erick Morillo's Latin House, without so much of the whistles and soul singing, but with all the positive vibe and get on the floor dance feeling that we all enjoy.

In essence This is Everybody Two is much more of a funky deep progressive house cd than a standard dark progressive house set, but that is fine, especially if its going to be this much fun to listen to.

In the end, like all great albums, the music succeeds because it reminds you of the fantastic times that can be had in any great club night in cities around the world, and I recommend it to anyone who has an interest in dance/electronic music.

5.0 out of 5 stars Best Compilation of 2004, March 11, 2005

Sander's legend grows. TIEToo is a prog/house/funk 2CD trip of sensual sound. i'm not kidding there. as you can tell genres are increasily difficult to define, but somehow we always stoop to cornering musicians. that might be for the better- our expecations are then surpassed as they advance their careers. "This is everybody too" is brilliant. it starts slow, realizing that the two hour set is a marathon- once it kicks in, theres no letting go. that's assuming that the intro tracks dont grip you with their ethereal vibe. This surpasses his previous "this is everybody"-no questions. i can't think of a better mix this year- oakenfold's creamfields doesn't compare. even some of the more familiar tracks has sander recreating with fresh mixes. fresh is the right word- and currently thats the trend in global dance. it has to sound live, full, and danceable. congrats sander on success, a grammy is in your future.

4.0 out of 5 stars Solid Mix Album, great funky house tracks, top mate!, March 8, 2005

Everybody too obviously had to live up to everybody one, and I think that Sander did a great job of not making a follow-up to his first everybody disc, he simply just made two new style mixes for you and yours to rock out to. The first disc is (dare I say) a little trancey (progressive) and is just filled with hype tracks. Highlights are Mindtrip, DO to you in 82, and The Switch off disc 1. Disc 2 is a little bit more straight up house, but with the funky beats and grooves that Sander always drops. The fruit and ya don't stop are my fav's on disc 2.

Both discs have a great house vibe to them though and are great for just getting down to before a night out at the clubs. 4 out of 5 only because it is not the best mix I have ever heard.

5.0 out of 5 stars woh woh woh wait a minute, May 2, 2005
This review is from: This Is Everybody Too (Audio CD)
No way is this cd getting one star. Ok whoever said that review helped them out must have not heard Sander's new hot cd he released here. Unlike Everybody both cds here rock the house with some of the funkiest progressive house out. Yeah there are too many lyrics but it sets the perfect mood for this funkadelic house album. One star, obviously no clue. Go back to your james holden or whoever you listen too. Sander is just getting stronger and i hope he can keep bringing the most powerful baselines ever.
