I'm an avid male reader and have been a die-hard Kendra Norman Bellamy fan for years now. So she's the real reason I purchased this book. But all of the stories are extremely well written and quite engaging. I think Kendra's is the best but I'm probably being bias. What can I say? I can't help but love the strong men that she creates in her stories.

I have become a huge fan of Stacy Hawkins Adams. I can relate to her books. This is a great read!

Kendra Norman-Bellamy's A Cracked Mirror has truly blessed me.

Kendra Norman-Bellamy has done it again! I've recently finished reading A Cracked Mirror. And all I can say is "Wow." She has comprised a complete and whole story into a short one -completely. Ha!

Kendra writes with such clarity. It's as though her stories arn't made up at all. There wasn't a scene I couldn't see, intent humor that didn't make me laugh, nor a moving scene that didn't engross me.

Without giving everything away, from Sariah turning from her mirrored vanity in surprised anger at her husbands' approval to Giovanna's (Their daughter's) birthday request, to the compelling scene where LaShun and Sariah meet, the entire story was alive and vivid. Even Teresa dropping the tray! Even when they all joined hands, so incredibly vivid, I just shook my head in amazement. It's as though I was glued to the television, watching a movie.

As in all of her novels, the love the couples share is without a doubt agape. In the engrossing mild disagreement that LaShun and Jaxon had concerning his arrangement in the meeting with Sariah, had love flowing all through it. And because of his love for her and his understanding of her hurt from her past, he was always there to soothe her pain, but when he needed to take a stand, he did so, thoroughly. And his wife couldn't help but to submit. I loved it!

Kendra doesn't miss a beat! Even her recipes were jumping off the page, smothered fried pork chops, yellow rice, collard greens and Mexican corn bread! Pot roast, wild rice, yams and corn on the cob. Wooooo... Hooooo! I think I put on ten pounds just reading it! LOL! Those tantalizing dishes WILL be added to my line of home cooked meals, thank you very much Mrs. Kendra. :-)

To me "A Cracked Mirror" is a story of love and forgiveness and has changed the way I look at my own reflection in the mirror everyday.

Each prayer prayed, I've incorporated into my own prayers, so in that regard, (besides learning how to be a better writer and being entertained with such gifted writing) this story, Kendra's story, A Cracked Mirror has blessed me.
So, thank you Mrs. Norman-Bellamy.

P.S. Kendra is an excellent writer. I only pray my stories are as good.
