I saw this family on PBS recently and was blown away with their incredible skill. They have an awesome testimony of their loving and musically gifted parents who encouraged them to pursue learning an instrument or singing ability. I got the feeling these six children have far exceeded anything their parents ever dreamed of when they were very young... then again, maybe they did. This album displays their pheonominal abilities and leaves no doubt that they will make many new fans. The father is a skilled jazz pianist and the mother has a degree in Vocal Performance... some of the children studied at university levels even when they were still quite young. I highly recommend The Annie Moses Band if you enjoy new arrangements of Christmas songs... I guarantee you haven't heard them arranged like this before. They also do some songs their parents have penned. It's a fusion of Celtic, Blue Grass, Jazz and Classical all mixed into their own uniquely contemporary sound. I don't believe its ever been done like this before! Wow - The Skill And Energy Of Disciplined Youth!

I have all of Annie Moses Band's cd's and let me tell you- this is an insanely talented family! Two of the kids went to Juilliard and they are all naturally gifted in music. The music is written by the father, and everyone sings and plays an instrument. This cd has breathtaking Christmas music that will give you CHILLS! Best of all, this family is on fire for the Lord- they live it, breathe it, and sing it, and their music is a gift to us all. Buy this cd- you will NOT be disappointed! My ears have never heard such beauty!

I've owned this album for a few years now, so it's time I give credit where it's due. I love to collect Christmas music, especially by Christian artists. This CD has become one of my few favorites of all time, and I enjoy a very diverse amount music. This band is composed of a family of an amazing amount of musical talent. This jazz-inspired band will blow you away with their original songs, as well as versions of classics that will have you in awe. Trust me, the music will take you in. I can't believe they aren't filling every theater in the country. All in marketing I guess, big money is with secular, mainstream music. This beats pretty much any female-led jazz band out there, especially for Christmas music. This Glorious Christmas by Annie Moses Band is a must-have album.

First saw this family on the 700 Club and loved their music so I got this CD. It included a DVD disc with five songs performed live and an interview with three of the family members. This CD turned out to be better than I expected, and after playing it a few times people began requesting it be played even more. Excellent musicianship and arrangements with a nice variety.

The Annie Moses band is something special. I ordered the CD and got a bonus DVD; and that was a treat. I look forward to seeing them in person.

Someone gave me this cd to listen to this past Christmas and told me how wonderful it was. I must admit I was not that interested in trying it because I have not heard much about The Annie Moses Band. I love Christmas music and when I heard this cd, I know right away it was going to be one of my top favorites! The vocals are amazing and the talent on the violin and the other instruments were just wonderful! This is not your typical Christmas cd, it is even more. It has a wonderful mix of both instrumental and vocal songs, and has a great variety of Christmas songs that are both popular and new. After hearing this Christmas album, I defintely want to check into more of their music!

This product was purchased as a Christmas gift for my parents. They love it! The package was shipped very quickly and was in great condition when it arrived.

De muzikale Wolaver familie dankt met haar bandnaam overgrootmoeder Annie Moses die heeft geïnvesteerd in de ontwikkeling van het muzikale talent van haar dochter. Klein- en achterkleinkinderen hebben na professionele scholing hun handen ineen geslagen en de 'chamber pop' als stijl geadopteerd. Vader Bill staat garant voor de ingenieuze, tegen Ierse volksmuziek aanliggende, arrangementen en speelt vleugel. Moeder Robin schreef teksten bij de eigen composities Bethlehem House of Bread, Little Baby, When The Christmas Baby Cries en Red, Red, White and Blue Christmas (geschreven voor overzeese soldaten die hun kerst ver weg van hun thuisfront moeten vieren). Oudste dochter Annie speelt voortreffelijk eerste viool en neemt de lead vocals voor haar rekening. Benjamin op cello, Gretchen op viool en mandoline, Alex op cello en Camille op harp, Jeremiah op gitaar. Aangevuld met Mario Sangermano op bas, Javier Santiago op drums en percussie en op diverse tracks nog wat gastmuzikanten en de muzikale setting is compleet. Licht klassiek en pop gemengd trekt een groot publiek en dan is zo'n kerstalbum helemaal een interessant visitekaartje voor het in 2009 te verschijnen Make His Praise Glorious. Zien is geloven, en daarom gaat de CD vergezeld van een DVD, met daarop live concertopnamen van O Come, O Come, Emmanuel, O Little Town Of Bethlehem Intro en Bethlehem, House Of Bread, Sussex Carol, What Child Is This en God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen, aangevuld met het verhaal achter de band. Plezier, muzikale professie en familieband: prima bindmiddelen voor een boeiende band en CD/DVD.
