if you like soul or r'n'b, this c.d.is flat-out great. one or two ballads, but mostly hard-rocking,
big-choir, small-combo material with shouters doing lead vocals. the intro to the last song, 'let's praise the lord,' strongly reminds me of sly stone's 'thank you (falletin me be mice elf agin)' for some
reason, and is every bit as funky. highly recommended by this atheist. dirt cheap, too, at six bucks. really, do yourself a favor.
