Of the 2 proper disks available I prefer this earlier compilation . What else can one say? 104 prime Cab Calloway & Orchestra cuts, with pristine sound, a 48 page booklet and great discography.Keep the Hi-De-Ho in your soul! A must have baby!

This 4CD Proper Box Set is the best set I have ever had the pleasure to own and use on my Sunday Night Radio Show. It features over a hundred of Cab Calloway's recordings which are excellantly mastered for this boxset. Almost ALL of Cab's charted hits are contained in this album, which I use on a regular basis, on my radio program. Where can you get this much great music, at this low price?

Cab Calloway has got to be a sure cure for the blues. I mean how can you feel down listening to Cab?
And this four CD set has got all of that great old wild music including the Minnie the Moocher/Smokey Joe chronicles. This package is a great value with over a hundred great tunes. Hep cats in zoot suits kickin' the gong.
That's what I'm talkin' about!
