A well written book, they do a great job narrating and describing the history of the hospital. Dr. Aufses is a brilliant professor and a magnificent scholar.

Dr. Aufses (Professor of Surgery) tries again to pay homage to Mount Sinai Hospital and the School of Medicine. He does a nice job. Unfortunately, I remember Dr. Aufses while he was an attending at Mount Sinai, his department, and his "secretary" are less than impressive--and while it shouldn't cloud my review, I can't help it.

The book will be purchased by anybody who has practiced, trained, or was educated at Mount Sinai--located on the upper East Side in Manhattan on the edge of Central Park. It's a good read, filled with medical trivia and interesting stories.
