About the Author
Christopher Scarlett has been Honorary Secretary of the Anglo-Indonesian Society in London since 1976 and Chairman since 2000. His extensive knowledge of Indonesia has been acquired over many years and, as an expert in rural infrastructure development, he has travelled widely throughout the archipelago. Gerald Cubitt's travels have taken him to all corners of the globe and his images of Indonesia have received international acclaim.
