Before there was Robert Plant and Alison Krauss, folk diva Emmylou Harris and King Crimson front man Mark Knopfler collaborated on "All the Roadrunning",a duet album blending psychedelia with folk rock.
"This is Us" is a glorious duet about love and commitment over the years. Knopfler and Harris are heartfelt in their collaboration. They sound like a long-married couple. The song is about how love changes its course over the years, flowing like a river. It would be perfect for an anniversary. "This is us" is an ode to longtime love. Take your time to listen.... |
