It would be fair to say that the story of JD and Kari is much like the story of Romeo and Juliet-if Romeo and Juliet were drunken college kids and their love wasn't actually forbidden, and if Juliet considered Romeo her best friend rather than her undying lover-mixed with a little Facebook stalking on Romeo's part-then this story just might be very similar.

This book is a must-read for anyone who has been young and gotten on the rollercoaster ride of love. You will laugh and cry and, most-importantly, relate to everything Kyle writes about his journey through college and beyond, trying to muster the courage to confess his feelings to the girl he loves. It is a great and touching story, one that people of all ages can relate to. It is well worth the purchase!!!!!

This is a great read that will literally make you laugh out loud almost every other chapter. It is jammed packed with hilarious pop culture references but also takes you on an emotional roller-coaster by putting you inside the mind of an unlucky lad that finds himself stuck inside the "friend zone" with the girl he is in love with. This story is easy to relate to and one that is very difficult to put down. Get the book, check out the author's hilarious videos on Youtube and post a review!

This book (and author) were a total aphrodisiac for me..and it was absolutely hilarious! I am a young woman in my mid-20's who has been looking for love for a long time and I was able to get inside the head of a guy within my demographic in a far more intense way than I have ever experienced. Having read this book I have a much better sense how guys think about relationships. I could not put this book down from the time I crawled into bed to the time I had to get up in the morning.

This is one of those books that once you start reading you literally can't put back down. I actually bought this book after my friend sent me a link to this funny ass rap parody YouTube video and saw the "rapper" was actually an author. The way he describes the life of someone completely obsessed with another in this unique and comical way, it's seriously a new genre of comedy for any 18 - 27 year old who wasn't brought up in a cave can laugh and relate to.

Definitely a recommended read and hope he keeps writing books like this!

I picked up this book and couldn't put it down until completion. The book is divided into three parts and Kyle refers back to them in each new chapter. Really creative layout. Unreal story, so many emotions. Makes you go back to your own college days and love stories. Great read for anyone who has experienced "love" and wondering what the hell you want to do with your life.
