It's incredible how now and then new groups come along, showing so much talent...In this world of music created for purely commercial purposes, it's a pleasure listening to great music still being made. And this is just the case with "This love", be Maroon 5...

A song with great rhythm, catchy melodies and lyrics, you are immediately trapped in the musical potential this group has to offer...The singer is superb, demonstrating the influence of one the greatest singers of all time, Mr. Stevie Wonder, and the bass player and drummer are truly excellent.

I truly recommend this single, in fact, this record, to anyone who desires to listen to one of the most talented groups to come along in a long time.

The second single taken from SONGS ABOUT JANE, THIS LOVE is distinctly differant than HARDER TO BREATHE. The CD single also includes the SEXY VIDEO.

THIS LOVE will proove to music fans everywhere that MAROON 5 is not a one hit wonder and this song will help make MAROON 5 a legitimate band to take notice to in years to come.

The first time I heard this song, I absolutely fell in love with it. Poetic, melodic and full of energy, I could listen to this song over and over again. If you love the single, you have to listen to the remixes....especially the one by Kanye West. It takes the song to a whole new level. What more is there to say about this song other than it was one of the best songs of the year! If you love this single, you WON'T be disappointed with the rest of the album. Buy today!

After a small yet very effective music introduction to the vocals, you are instantly drawn into this track! Breaking a general rule of a few verses before the chorus, you are introduced to "This Loves" funky chorus within the first minute of the track.

You may expect for such a formula to become repetitive but the chorus is as infectious as the music, and leaves you actually hanging out for the chorus to come along again!

We are treated to two acoustic live tracks, one being "Harder to breathe", Maroon 5's last single. What a treat for those who didn't manage to get this single when it was out! The live version is awesome, and I believe out rates the album version! It's easy to listen to, and the vocals are spot on. The most concise way to describe the sound of this band is "tender rock"! They really are something, especially live!

"The Sun" is the final track and unfortunately isn't as memorable as the other two tracks. Still enjoyable, especially with the inclusion of a prominent cool drum beat, but buy this single for either the title track or the acoustic "Harder to Breath"; either reason is well worth the purchase!

'This love' is very good. I think it's the best from Maroon 5. It's one of my favourite from all of Maroon 5's songs. It's tone is very enjoyable. And the beat is kinda' slow, but it is really good. The vocal... not bad. The lyrics, OK. But if you ever watch the video clip, it's little vulgar. Overall, it's good. So I'd give 9.5 for This Love. Recommended.

I bought songs about jane the summer of 2003. This love has been one of my favorite songs amoung the rest of the songs, i listen to it frequently and im still not sick of it. Also they are awesome in concert.

I think Maroon 5 is great. No matter how many times I hear this song (and believe me, I hear it every night on MTV and VH1), I still can never tire of it. It's a really good song. Adam Levine brings an unusual type of music/sound to the scene.

I've heard "This Love Has Taken Its Toll" so many times on the radio I've come close to dying of boredom on the spot and crashing into people on the highway, but recently I stumbled across an mp3 of Maroon 5 covering NIN's "Closer"

I was like... you're kidding, right? This weak little overplayed pop trash band doing some real music? (NIN, Manson, Slayer, etc. that's real as it gets for me.)

And the crazy thing is they pull it off very well with their own 70's-ish funky flavour added to the song.

Any band that is smart enough to do an NIN track in their live shows or on their CD's is damn kewel in my book. I used to hate Linkin Park with a passion cuz I just couldn't stomache rap-rock.. found their live cover of Wish on Kazaa and I've totally changed my opinion of them.

If bands would put more of these totally out-of-character treats on their albums it might make me actually wanna go out and buy their music instead of scrounging for poor quality bootlegged mp3's.

This Love is basically the only cut by them that I kinda dig.they sound like a Poor Man's Jameriqui to me on a whole."this Love" is like the Best song that Hanson didn't do yet. Maron 5 basically comes across like this year's version of the Band Train. all the Hype&when the dust clears they will as well.but "this Love" is catchy.

Sometimes, many new artists don't seem to adequately find some decent values within good songs. It does seem to take a lot for those artists and thensome. For Maroon 5, their second song does seem to falter a little bit, and not have the decent feel Harder To Breathe compiled. This Love does seem a little bit quirky at first, but does not feel like it is a strong hit. It sounds like a good party anthem, but not all the way as longful and lasting. Still, it does beat other good songs out there these days. I just don't know if Maroon 5 will have a better single in the future, but maybe it'll happen soon.
