This is my Life is a CD with a lot of Shirely's standard songs but they are all new recordings which makes it something special not a repacking of her songs. I was very impressed by the NEW version of "Kiss me Honey Honey" done as ballad Outstanding! This is a must for any collector of Shirley Bassey. Check it out and I think you to will fall in love with This is My Life with the London Symphony Orchestra.

Includes songs from "I Am What I Am", "All By Myself" & "The Music Never Ends". These 3 albums have been compiled together frequently. In some tracks, Shirley sounds harsh... the songs lack the feeling and sensitivity. She simply belts out. Why?

A number of Dame Shirley's Golden Hits, re-recorded again during the 1980's. Delivering individualistic and classy music, and the logetivity of her appeal outlived that of many of her critical contemporaries.

Dame Shirley Bassey CBE has a wonderful voice and if she's not a household name in the world as regards to her singing career, then it's just a crime because she is truly a wide-range vocalist. Despite her achievements which include being awarded Dame Commander of the Order of the British Empire, the CBE (Commander of the Order of the British Empire) and of course a wax lifelike statue at Madame Tussaud's in London, England, her fans include Prince Charles and Joan Collins OBE. Dame Shirley has a deep wonderful voice which makes any song regardless of how many times it has been sung by others become hers. Dame Shirley Bassey deserves the accolades and still sings in front of concernts. It's a shame that she hasn't caught on the United States.
