2008 two CD set, the first definitive compilation that sums up the Finnish Rock band's best moments from their noteworthy career. The first CD concentrates on the band's hits from 1980 to 1984 and the second CD highlights their second coming. As a bonus, there are two previously unreleased tracks: 'Worldshaker' and 'Grin And Bear It'. Hanoi Rocks have been pioneers in many ways in their 30 year career. They were the first Finnish Rock band to make a breakthrough on the international stage at a time when Finnish music exporting was basically nonexistent. The band's musical style and image eventually formed a whole new music genre that has been adopted by many bands since (for example Guns 'N Roses ). Today, the specific type of Rock 'N' Roll that Hanoi Rocks pioneered seems to be more popular than ever. In the liner notes, artists such as Alice Cooper, Backyard Babies and The Wildhearts share their memories of Hanoi Rocks. Megamania.
