A decent and slightly dancy punk album - you'll be content but nothing more - 3.5 stars, January 3, 2006

The first three tracks on "This Is For Real" are probably the albums best, but that isn't really saying much (some of the others are alright, though). This is a heavily influenced album with little originality (unless you call the singer heavily mimicing Michael Jackson in a punk band original - the singer is pretty bad). Don't get me wrong, it's not bad - it's simply "ok". You won't mind not owning this at all. Lyrically the album is pretty cheesy and not interesting at all (lots of swearing just for the sake of swearing). The only really good part of the album is the musicianship which is usually pretty good and interesting. The songs usually have a catchy hook which don't end up saving them. Perhaps if they were given a better singer and more interesting material than Pink Grease could do well - there's definitely potential here. An alright album that's ONLY for punk fans.

"Remember Forever"
"Fever"
"The Pink Grease"
the rest all have catchy hooks but they're just not good

Rock-solid CD guaranteed to make you move!, November 4, 2004

If this CD doesn't make you shake your money-maker, then you just might be comatose. This is one solid CD from top to bottom. The highlights include "fever"-which i play at the club where i dj, and it always brings the house down- and "pink g.r. ease" which also brings a great rock sound that you can dance to. If you loved electric six's cd "fire", don't miss this one...it is a great party record!!
