My favorite Kisor recording yet, January 31, 2007

Other than Monette, I have no idea what equipment he was using, studio specs, what he was practicing, what he was listening to before recording this, what he was smoking, eating, drinking or how much sleep he was getting. Whatever the case may be, DON'T CHANGE A THING, RYAN!
I've heard him live since he was a teenager, and I have several of his recordings as both leader and sideman. This is by far my favorite of his playing. I absolutely love his sound, phrasing, ideas, EVERYHING about this recording.
If you are a Ryan Kisor fan, you'll love this CD. Great work, Ryan, keep up the great artistry.
