Small Potatoes,

The title caught my attention and, besides the flip up flaps, is the best part of the book for me. The artwork is good, the text fair to middling.
I think most children will enjoy seeing the hidden pictures under the flaps and might get a kick out of the story itself. Too bad there wasn't a better and more effective use of rhyme and repetition by the author. Personally I was disappointed that there really wasn't a sack of potatoes in the bed. spudman |
