Quite possibly the best band out there today, the Dillinger Four manage to write infectious songs that never lose there edge and contain social-political lyrics that always manage to get straight to the point without ever sounding preachy. Every song on this album (every song they've ever done for that matter) is a certifiable winner. This cd is a combination of all of their previous vinyl only releases and chronicles the beginnings of one of the greatest punk bands to ever walk the face of the earth.

Any fan of Pop punk (Lookout style) and 80's hardcore, if they don't already, MUST own this collection of b-sides. This band has quite simply mastered the pop punk sound. Nothing too bubbly and nothing too post punk. Imagine Poison Idea and the Parasites. That's the best way for me to sum them up. The songwriting is ridiculously challenging as well. Just listen too them.

So I had this CD for awhile and I made a really long road trip to go get my puppy dog who was to be named "Bob". I listened to this CD the entire time, and now "Bob" is "Dillinger" (sometimes Retard #1, and reallly "Bob" did not fit him but "Dillinger" very much does). I love Dillinger Four, I have for years. My dog loves them too and he told me that this is one of his favorite CD's because when you go see D4 now (or at least the rare times they come to the South) you don't really get to hear these songs.

dillinger four threw all their 7" tracks and such on this CD, and it's really really good, but since no two albums by these guys sound the same, you'll have to check it out to really understand what's good about it-unique melodies, really smart and heartfelt lyrics and powerful vocals and sound-I'm not sure if I'll ever get rocked as hard as that by any other band EVER again. What else can I say?

this cd is absolutely amazing, these guys never fail to put out amazing stuff. and their lyrics are in a league of their own, if you like descent music, buy this cd

dillinger four is an amazing punk rock band with a brilliant ability to write pertinant, socially conscious and sarcastic lyrics... they are definitely not a stereoptyical hopeless records pop punk songs-about-girls band... they are one of the few band that manage to incorpoarate important socailly and politically conscious lyrics with a less hardcore, crust-punk sound... and as always, erik and paddy's distinct vocals are a major highlight... in general, this is another great punk album by a great punk band

Dillinger four are a great band and like it says on another review are great live but i only like the first track on this (cant be helped) sorry guys....
