To non-Hanson fans i have one thing to say, forget the screeching voices, forget the teen band image, coz this album totally rocks. One listen and you'll be hooked. It's packed with guitar strumming, piano playing and of course those perfect three part harmonies. Give these guys a chance coz they are well worth it. I'd recommend this CD to anyone who likes the sound of a pure band, and not the sound of manufactured music.

This Time Around is a great follow up to the 1997 debut, Middle of Nowhere. This CD has more of a rock sound in comparison to the earlier pop sound. Blues Traveler frontman John Popper, teen guitar whiz Johnny Lang, and Rose Stone and her Choir all add star cameos. The Japanese version offers two bonus tracks which cannot be found on the US version. The amazing talent of this CD will overwhelm any listener. Buy this CD today!

I love this album! ever since i got it, in may 2000, ive listened to it nearly everyday, and with todays date bein september 2001, thats over a years worth of hanson! this is probably the best hanson alb they have released! the range of moods portrayed in the music is tremendous! You can listen to this album whatever mood your in! thanx for this 1 hanson! hurry up with the next alb plz! otherwise this CD mite fail on me cos of over use!

ok...the person who described them as guitar, piano, and three part harmonies... that's basically the beatles in a nutshell... but it's a pretty cool CD... i don't even really like hanson

It's not bad but it's not great...,

I don't really like Hanson but I decided I wanted to reveiw this album (as I'm probably going to do to all my CDs.)After a few months, "This Time Around" was released my sister and I decided to buy it. Although I don't like Hanson at all, this album is better compared to their first one. My faves on this album are "Runaway Run," "Wish That I Was There" and "Smile." After listening to the album it hasn't "converted" me to liking Hanson but I can still (half) tolerate them. |
