Editorial Reviews

From AudioFile

Talented narrator Richard Derrington's melodious voice enhances this much too complicated story, which occasionally falters. Down-to-earth Detective Superintendent Ross conducts as thorough an investigation as he can, learning that, indeed, "the rich are different." The site of the two murders he's investigating is an exclusive country club where there is a reluctance to talk--the members are sticking together. Ross is professionally challenged, but he does prevail. Some amusing wordplay makes for an enjoyable listening experience as Derrington characterizes the wealthy and humble who star in this mystery.
