5.0 out of 5 stars WHAT A PAIR OF CD'S, August 27, 2003

This review is from: This Was Now: 74-98 (Audio CD)
This is not only an interesting concept ( putting 2 live CD's spanning 24 years together ) but also a pleasure to listen to. I have every TROWER CD and thought hard about more versions of the same songs, but was swayed by the LIVE tag. I love live CD's and this is no exception. TROWER has always had one of the most original tones and styles amongst all the living legends and on these 2 CD's you can hear the complete mastery he has of his instrument. His free improv. style is breathtaking. There is still no one out there that can equal him. He is just getting better and better with age, while still being totally true to his unconventinal delivery. If you like the guitar you must have this. If you wern't a TROWER fan before, this will turn you into one.
