Born in Oil City, Pennsylvania Sept. 17, 1937, Lloyd grew up in western New York State and married Mary-Lou Foster, his wife of more than four decades, with whom he raised four daughters. His poetry has won awards, and acclaim from at least one other author.

Lloyd H. Whitling, a native Pennsylvanian, has been in trouble since 1937 due to a sense of curiosity that cannot be satisfied with superficial or artificial details about his surroundings. His hands-on attitude has led him through a diverse existence that he draws on for his books and web site. The result is a unique point of view that, most likely, will keep him in trouble with his readers.

If you haven't read THIS WORLD or its companion book THE SANDWYTCH OF DESERT LOW you are missing out on rare treasures. If you like stories about Wizzards and Wytches, this book is a must read with a twist. You'll be amazed at all the hilarious situations the characters get involved in while trying to save their land. Once I started reading this book, I couldn't put it down until I had finished reading it.
