Not everyone is happy and in love every day of their lives. Couples break up, divorces happen, death occurs. Whatever the reason, despite friends and family there are people who are painfully lonely, watching couples around them with an aching jealousy like that of a starving person watching others eat. Holidays can amplify that feeling of being alone as the world around you seems focused on reminding you that you have no one to share your life with. This Is for You is a beautiful, poignant, interestingly and artistically presented story that gives hope that there is a heart out there that beats with yours. You are not alone. You can have hope.

A friend gave me this book today as a Valentines Day gift and there are no words in the English language to describe how deeply it has touched my heart.

I gave this to my art-director fiance for Valentine's last year. It is such a beautiful book, however not very practical to read all the way through. Although it is a book of poems, it is definitely more of a picture book (every page resembles the cover; or is more intricate!) I recommend having this book if you collect art books or are a designer of some stripe for the eye-candy or inspiration. If you are more of a poem lover, best to look elsewhere!

The main reason for buying this book---the illustrations. I think the artist did a great job---the details were amazing. I found it inspiring.

the world of paper artist rob ryan is a magical one, a place in which i wish i could aimlessly wander. lovely, intricate work adorns each page. i first discovered rob's work on the cover of The World to Come by dara horn, two years ago, and have since then stumbled across his etsy site as well. be kind to yourself and purchase this book - no, two copies. one for you, one for someone you really really love.

I first saw Rob Ryan's works on ppaper, a taiwan magazine.They looks amazing. But this book destroys Ryan's amazing work...terrible paper choice, terrible print color and terrible design. How could they publish his works like this!!!!

A delightful little book. It is a nice sweet story, but what stood out for me most were the detailed, intricate cut-paper illustrations. Amazing.

This book is just darling. I gavee it to my husband for Christmas and even he appreciated it (it is a bit on the sappy side). I want to get a few copies to hand out as gifts whenever the occasion calls for it.

What a great book! I gave this to my artsy-craftsy daughter and she loved it. A good book from a very creative author!!!

This book is so beautiful and sweet. The artistry is impressive and the content is whimsical. I absolutely recommend buying this.
